Hildegunn Øiseth (trumpet, flugelhorn & effects)

Hildegunn graduated from the Swedish academy of music, Ingesund in 1990.
As the first female musician employed in a professional big band in Scandinavia, Hildegunn has toured with eminent jazz legends all over Europe and has recorded several cd’s.

After 10 years in Bohuslän Big Band in
Sweden, she left to explore the African rhythms and soundscapes. Hildegunn lived in Cape Town, South Africa for more than 2 years where she formed the band Uhambo, which has recorded two CD’s with some of Hildegunn’s compositions.

Hildegunn manipulates the sound of her trumpets and her voice with electronic equipment inspired by both nature and urban civilization.










Ingrid Kindem (keyboards and programming)

Ingrid Kindem was educated at Trondheim University in Norway. She works as a composer, freelance musician and orchestra leader with frequent engagements for the Norwegian Broadcast Association Television and the Norwegian Concert Institute (Rikskonsertene). She received the Norwegian Spelleman Award in 1997.

Her work concentrates on musical representations grounded in modern, Nordic musical expressions.
She uses computer and sampler as composition tools to manipulate old folk music instruments, nature surroundings and rhythm patterns to develop her own soundscapes.

She has participated in numerous projects with folk musicians from Norway, Greenland, Iceland, Denmark and Finland and has toured in the Nordic countries, Kosovo, England, Switzerland, Hong-Kong, Ghana, South Africa, Pakistan and India.










Mocci Ryen (vocals)

Mocci Ryen is a graduate from Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) where she studied music and composition.
Mocci’s broad musical repertoire and vocal versatility has become one of her strengths not only as a singer but also as an interpreter and artist.

Mocci has participated in many international musical projects. She has appeared in a number of TV shows and was last seen on TV jamming with Patti Labelle during the 2004 Nobel Peace Prize Concert. In 2001 she appeared in the Eurovision song contest – Norwegian finale with the single ”You’ve got the motion” which later became a radio hit. She has recorded a number of CD’s and was cultural ambassador for the HIV and AIDS Telethon organised by Kirkens Nødhjelp.  

Mocci runs her own productions company M'productions and continues to tour throughout Norway, US, England, Germany, Ibiza, Asia, South Africa and South America with various musical projects.
